Portagex and The Country Lane Quilters Guild graciously co-hosted the 27th Annual Manitoba Association of Agricultural Societies Provincial Quilt Competition Awards on Saturday, November 16, 2013 in Portage la Prairie.

There was a wonderful display of quilts from the guild members from the Portage la Prairie region and the Manitoba Ag Societies District level quilt winners.

The turn out was great with avid quilters, families and friends coming out to view the quilts and enjoy some refreshments and wonderful home baking.

There were 14 quilts this year representing the MAAS District Level Winners and they all displayed great design and workmanship.

There are many people to thank: the sponsors, quilters, all of the MB Ag Societies and the MAAS district level coordinators, the judges, and all of the volunteers who helped make this event a success.
